The training proposed by the Naples offices of the Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology (IBBC) and the Institute for Research on Terrestrial Ecosystems (IRET) aims to raise understanding of the multiple benefits offered by biotechnology in the areas of health, environment and biodiversity conservation.
This year, IRET’s proposed activities are also part of the SPOKE 7 “Biodiversity and society: communication, education and social impact” initiatives of the National Biodiversity Future Center (NBFC) of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRP).
The first National Research and Innovation Center that focuses not only on monitoring but also on biodiversitỳ conservation, restoration and enhancement, where IRET plays a relevant role in scientific coordination.
The event included short thematic classroom seminars by researchers and interactive laboratory activities with the participation of students from class VC of the Liceo Scientifico Statale “Leon Battista Alberti” in Naples.
