This summer, 3 researchers of the IRET (Research Institute on terrestrial Ecosystems) visited the Italian Station "Dirigibile Italia" at Ny Alesund, in the Norwegian Svalbard archipelago, to carry out an experimental campaign on the effects of climate change on some plant species representative of the Arctic tundra. The project was realized thanks to the financing of the SIOS network (Svalbard Integrated Arctic Earth Observing System) of which the CNR is a member.
