Molecular biology and evolutionary genomics

pipette sotto cappa

foto lab biologia molecolareThe molecular biology and evolutionary genomics laboratory has instrumentation that allows DNA and RNA extraction, amplification of target genes, study of differential expression of target genes involved in different physiological mechanisms and/or metabolic pathways, and analysis of genomic, epigenomic and transcriptomic diversity. The main purpose is to study the genetic variability of natural populations of animals and plants, their evolution and their response to anthropogenic and environmental stresses. The laboratory is equipped with the necessary instrumentation for building NGS libraries and a workstation and server for bioinformatic analysis.
