Concerning active CNR-IRET accounts on social platforms Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/people/Cnr_Iret/100076309031082/), X (https://x.com/CNR_iret), Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/cnr_iret/), YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/@cnriret7301) and LinkedIn (linkedin.com/in/cnr-iret-b99044249), some personal information may be acquired by the operators of such platforms whenever the user decides to interact with the plug-ins. For more detailed information, please refer to the relevant privacy policy.

For sharing on some of the main social networks (Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn), some personal information may be acquired by the managers of the social network platforms each time the User decides to interact with the plug-ins. The institutional profiles of CNR-IRET are administered under the direct responsibility of the Institute’s legal representative. The opening, deletion and management of one or more social media in the name of CNR-IRET must be authorised by the CNR-IRET Management.

The contents of the communication will be aimed at illustrating and promoting awareness of the research issues addressed by the Institute and deemed to be of relevant public and social interest.

CNR-IRET invites users to have a polite and pertinent conversation and reserves the right to remove comments considered illicit, defamatory and/or slanderous, vulgar, damaging to the privacy of others, and damaging to the dignity of persons and the decorum of the Institutions, the rights of minorities and minors, the principles of freedom and equality. They are also deleted:

▪ information that may tend to compromise the security of public systems;

▪ content that infringes the interest of a legal property or a third party;

▪ comments or posts presenting sensitive data in violation of the Privacy Act;

▪ content of an advertising nature and more generally using messages for commercial purposes (promotion, sponsorship and sale of products);

▪ comments intended to offend the users of the page or those who manage and moderate the social channels;

▪ spam;

▪ repeatedly inserted interventions.

 

The possible removal of:

▪ comments not relevant to that particular published topic (off topic);

▪ comments and posts written to disrupt the discussion or offend.

 

CNR-IRET reserves the right to remove any content that is deemed in violation of this social media policy or any applicable law.

For those who violate the content set out in this policy, CNR-IRET may use tools such as banning or blocking to prevent further action and, in more serious cases, to report the user to the platform managers and possibly to the appropriate law enforcement agencies.
