Purpose and processing of data
The processing of personal data carried out through www.iret.cnr.it relates exclusively to navigation data normally received by the HTTP service (such as IP address, operating system and any other data normally passed from the client to the server via the HTTP protocol). These data are kept for one year, then anonymised and stored indefinitely for statistical and security purposes only.
Pursuant to art. 6, paragraph 1, letter e), the data are processed by CNR – IRET in the performance of its tasks of public interest or in any case related to the exercise of its public powers, including scientific research and analysis for statistical, teaching and administrative purposes, also in order to provide and improve the web services offered.
Such data are processed lawfully, correctly, relevantly, limited to what is necessary to achieve the purposes of the processing in accordance with the principles set out in Article 5 of EU Regulation No. 679/2016.
The data is retained only for any need for the investigation of criminal offences by the judicial authorities. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, unlawful or incorrect use and unauthorised access.
Rights of data subjects
Data subjects shall have the right to request from the data controller access to the data and the rectification or erasure of the data or the restriction of the processing concerning them or to object to the processing in accordance with Articles 15 et seq. of EU Regulation No. 679/2016.
The data subject has the right to submit his or her request to the data controller. Requests should be addressed to: direzione@iret.cnr.it
Data subjects who consider that their data has been processed in breach of the principles laid down in the Regulation have the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante, as provided for in Article 77 of the Regulation, or to take legal action (Article 79 of the Regulation).
Interested parties, if the conditions are met, also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante as supervisory authority.
